In addition to surveys on psychological stress in the workplace in companies, FFAW also conducts these surveys in schools on behalf of the Ministry of Education or School Ministries.
As part of the third survey round, which will take place from 2024 to 2027, all teachers in Baden-Wuerttemberg (BW) and North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) will be comprehensively surveyed. The COPSOQ questionnaire will be used, which has been supplemented with teacher-specific questions to enable a more precise analysis of the psychosocial burdens of the teaching profession.
For the first time, the current survey round will consider the impact of digitalization and mobile working on the mental health of teachers.
In Baden-Wuerttemberg, the survey includes a total of 9 cohorts and covers approximately 3,950 schools and kindergartens. About 120,000 teachers will participate in this survey. Simultaneously, a survey will also be conducted in North Rhine-Westphalia: Here, 5 cohorts are planned for the five administrative districts, encompassing around 4,850 schools and approximately 200,000 teachers as well as educational state employees. After the successful completion of a cohort, each school receives a result report – ready for distribution!
